The popular Holt February Film Festival returns in 2026 with a brand-new theme celebrating life on and by the sea. Running from 20th to 22nd February at Holt Community Centre, this year’s festival – titled “COAST: Stories from the Shoreline” – will explore the power, beauty and challenges of coastal life through film.
The programme will feature a diverse selection of feature films, documentaries, and shorts from across the UK, each capturing a unique perspective on the coast — from fishing villages and sea-
faring communities to environmental stories and maritime myths. Alongside screenings, audiences can enjoy special events celebrating the county’s deep connection to the sea, focusing on people who live and work by the water — from fishermen and lifeboat crews to the communities that call the
shoreline home.
